How to help Gaza and Lebanon: Make your voice heard

The situation in Gaza is getting worse every day. Unimaginable violence continues.

Over 2 million people are being deliberately deprived of everything they need to survive – water, food, medical help, and shelter.

Now the violence has escalated in Lebanon and other parts of the Middle East, forcing over a million people from their homes.

Here are some ways you can stand in solidarity and make your voice heard.

Sign the petition: call for a ceasefire now

A completely bombed out street in Gaza. Text reads 'Ceasefire now'.

Horrific and relentless attacks on Gaza by the Israeli government have killed tens of thousands of people. The recent escalations of violence in Lebanon and the wider region are the result of a catastrophic failure from world leaders to secure a ceasefire in Gaza.

Demand urgent action from the UK government.

The continuing Israeli bombardment and restrictions on access to Gaza has made any kind of large scale humanitarian response impossible.

Over 2 million Palestinians are in desperate need of basic resources – food, water, shelter and safety.

Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon have forced more than one million people to flee their homes, leaving many in urgent need of humanitarian aid.

Despite huge obstacles, our colleagues and partners in Gaza and Lebanon are working relentlessly in their communities, often risking their lives. They are distributing food, clean water and sanitation, hygiene kits, providing trauma counselling and so much more.

We are looking for a ceasefire. We are looking for humanitarian aid to support the resilience of the people in the Gaza Strip.”

Horrific violence continues to cause unimaginable death and destruction in Gaza, Lebanon, and other parts of the Middle East.

The UK is helping to fuel these attacks by continuing to allow arms sales to Israel, despite the clear risk that they are being used to commit war crimes.

A partial suspension of arms sales is not enough. Join us in telling the UK government to end ALL arms sales to Israel now.
