Activities:
Looking at case studies and drawing strip cartoons of the effects
of climate change on people’s lives; using maps and a climate
change calendar to identify which countries produce most carbon
dioxide emissions per capita and discuss possible reasons; card
game to think about how they can present what they have learnt.

Writing stories based on case studies; devising interviews for older
relatives; writing a story about the effects of climate change in

flow-charts of the fossil fuel energy that goes into breakfast
cereals; brainstorming how we could use less fossil fuel. |

fuel; discussion of needs and wants; following up interviews
