“Fresh Start Festive Hamper Giveaway” Terms & Conditions

1. By entering this competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. The promoter is Oxfam a company limited by guarantee in England and Wales (612172) and a registered charity in England & Wales (202918) and Scotland (SC039042) with registered office at Oxfam House, John Smith Drive. Cowley Oxford OX4 2JY.

Eligibility

3. The competition is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.

4.Employees, volunteers, and immediate family members of the organizing committee are not

eligible to participate.

5. All UK residents are eligible to enter.

Entry Requirements

6. To enter the competition, participants must have an Oxfam charity place in any challenge event and must fundraise for Oxfam. Only one entry per person is allowed.

7. The competition opens at 23:59, 1st November 2024 and closes at 23:59, 10th December 2024. All competition entries received after the closing date are automatically disqualified.

Prize

8. The prize is a Sourced by Oxfam hamper.

9. No cash alternative can be substituted.

10. The receipt by the winning entrant of any of the prize components is conditional upon compliance by the winner with these rules. Winning entrant may be required to provide a written acknowledgement of these rules and other terms and conditions, consents or releases relating to the prizes.

The Winner

11. The winner of the " Fresh Start Festive Hamper Giveaway" will be selected by a random selection generator: all entries will be inserted in selection app and a random selection will be generated.

12. There will be one 1 winner of the competition for the prize available. The prize is non-transferable

and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

13. The winner will be notified by email within 3 days of the closing date. They will be contacted by phone /email on how to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond within 24 hours of the initial phone call / email the next winner will be chosen at random and emailed within 1 week.

14. Oxfam’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

15. Oxfam will publish information that indicates that a valid award took place. The surname and county of residence of the winner will be published on our Challenge Events social media accounts and in our monthly stewardship email. If you object to any or all your surname, county and winning entry being published, please contact Oxfam at 'heretohelp@oxfam.org.uk'. In such circumstances, Oxfam must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

General

16. Oxfam shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations to the winner if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Neither shall Oxfam be liable to the winner for any loss or damage suffered in connection with this competition and/or the prize, save in respect of death or personal injury caused by the negligence or fraud of Oxfam.

17. Oxfam reserves the right to make any reasonable amendments to these terms and conditions at any stage. In this event, a notice will be posted on https://www.oxfam.org.uk/getinvolved/ fundraise-with-oxfam/fundraising-events . Oxfam also reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

18. As a condition of entering the competition, entrants must ensure that, by doing so, they do not contravene any laws of their country of residence. Oxfam will not be liable in any way if any entrant enters the competition unlawfully.

19. Any personal information collected by Oxfam in connection with a competition will be used in accordance with Oxfam’s privacy policy.

20. The name of the winner can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope together with details of the competition winners list you require to Oxfam within 30 days from the relevant closing date.

21. If you breach these terms and conditions, Oxfam reserves the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

22. This competition and these T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising therefrom.
