Virtual Events
Virtual challenge events are events where participants complete a specified challenge on their own, at any location and time that suits them, often within a set date range. Instead of gathering in one physical place, participants can run in their local area, log their distance and time (usually with a GPS-enabled device or app), and then submit their results online. Many virtual challenges also offer digital communities or platforms where participants can connect, track progress, and share photos, creating a shared experience remotely.
Join Oxfam’s virtual events and make a real difference from wherever you are! Our virtual challenges allow you to take part in transformative experiences that bring us closer to a fairer world, no matter your location. Let’s take on the challenge together—from anywhere, for everyone.
