REACTION: Oxfam response to PM's foreign policy speech

Responding to the Prime Minister’s foreign policy speech at the Lord Mayor’s Banquet tonight, Katy Chakrabortty, Oxfam’s Head of Advocacy said:

“If the new Foreign Secretary is to turn the Prime Minister’s rhetoric into reality and end the terrible suffering of Palestinian people, then his first task in office must be to support an immediate ceasefire to end the bloodshed.

“There can be no stronger case for ‘moral clarity’ and to do the right thing when over 11,000 Palestinians have been killed, babies fight for their lives in hospitals under constant fire, and over 200 Israeli hostages remain captive.”
