The Women's Rights Fund currently partners with 3 grassroots women’s organisations in Lebanon.

Female

Female is a feminist grassroots organisation founded in 2013 by young activists and journalists in Lebanon.

Dedicated to challenging patriarchy and promoting gender equality, FEMALE works across the South West Asia and North Africa region to amplify young voices, foster intersectional approaches, and combat harmful stereotypes in media.

With a team of 18 staff members, four community centres and a helpline for online violence survivors, the organisation provides safe spaces and vital support for marginalised individuals to connect, learn, and advocate for socio-political reforms that uphold the rights and dignity of women, girls, and non-binary people in all their diversities.

Madanyat for Equality

Madanyat was founded in 2019 to support women and young people to build up skills and confidence. Madanyat run training sessions, community meetings and social media campaigns.

They have implemented various projects to promote women's participation and leadership with political parties, universities, syndicates and activists.

The organisation has a skilled team of experts in addition to a wide pool of dedicated trainers and focal points from all over Lebanon. Madanyat reach approximately 2,600 people a year directly through their work.

Seeds was established in 2016. The organisation is dedicated to empowering individuals by ensuring equal access to justice and legal protection.

SEEDS work on creating and disseminating knowledge on vital legal issues, driving policy reform, and enhancing capacities through education and training.

Their primary focus is to expand civic spaces where women and other vulnerable groups can fully exercise their rights to freedom of expression, assembly, association, and public participation.

SEEDS operate with a team of 8 staff members. They have trained 25 young lawyers through their legal clinic internship programme, reaching over 1,500 individuals a year through their services.
