It's not fair

It’s not fair that our ability to cope with the climate crisis is based on where we live and the resources we can access.

It’s not ok that millions of people are already facing poverty. Those who have done the least to cause the climate crisis, are paying the highest price - with climate disasters forcing them from their homes and destroying their livelihoods.

But it’s exactly why we all have to take action. Will you join communities around the world who are fighting back and be part of the movement that can work towards stopping the climate crisis in its tracks?

If we want to see change happen, we need thousands of people speaking out, making calls for climate action as loud as possible, and pressing world leaders to make decisions that benefit us all.

Meet Mst. Doulotunnesa's Community in Satkhira

Mst. Doulotunnesa's community (pictured above) in Satkhira, Bangladesh, has been severely impacted by climate change. Rising temperatures and increasing water salinity have made daily life increasingly challenging. Mst. Doulotunnesa, along with other women from her community, attended training sessions* by Oxfam partner organisation, Breaking the Silence. This training covered climate change, gender equality and women's empowerment.

All the women from the Somota Gucchogram want to make this village greener together”
